Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
CBT is a type of therapy that highlights the importance of our thoughts and the effects they have on our feelings and behaviors. The goal of this therapy is to help people become aware of their negative thought patterns, distortions and misbeliefs and work to refute and replace them with more true and accurate thoughts. This enables one to change the way they feel and to help them respond more appropriately to situations and problems.
