A wonderful resource for parents to raise awareness and prevention of sexual abuse. The Well-Armored Child is an easy-read and offers practical guidance; bringing to light subtleties in grooming tactics predators use, highlighting how institutions may cover up abuse, and tips for being an ally to victims while empowering them without shame or fear.
One of the purposes of discipline is character development and this little book is sure to impress you on the subject. Ella Kellogg didn’t have any children of her own but she fostered over forty children and wrote numerous articles about education and child-rearing. This book offers simple, practical tips for any parent and highlights the importance of character development. Some say it’s the best parenting guide out there.
